Outreach to the Public/Media

Newspapers, television, radio, and the World Wide Web are all means of carrying the Al-Anon/Alateen message to families and friends of alcoholics. Through public service announcements (PSAs), news releases, and websites, Al-Anon and Alateen members can inform the media and general public about who we are, what we do, and how to reach us. Poster campaigns, fliers on public bulletin boards, placing books in libraries, and participating in community events are other opportunities for Public Outreach service.
