Your group number is important because it’s a unique identifier. The WSO, Area, Al-Anon Information Services (AISs) and Districts use it to retrieve a group record to update the group information and help newcomers find your meeting.

You can find your group registration number on the WSO website for both Al-Anon groups and Alateen groups. Simply enter the meeting address in the search “et voilà!” —the group number is listed underneath the meeting information.
