The Shipping and Warehouse team, composed of the Shipping Coordinator, Senior Shipping Clerk, and Shipping Clerk, are the unsung heroes of the World Service Office (WSO)! This team of three packs and ships as many as 200 orders a day. Once an order is received by the WSO, the team does its best to process the order within 72 hours (about 3 days). Orders are shipped not only within the World Service Conference Structure (US including Puerto Rico, Canada, and Bermuda) but worldwide. Those placing orders include newcomers, members, groups, Districts, Areas, Al‑Anon Information Services, Literature Distribution Centers, General Service Offices, professionals, and bookstores. In addition to processing orders, the team is also responsible for taking regular inventory of the warehouse to help ensure proper quantities of materials stay in stock. This team has their work cut out for them year‑round, but they are especially busy when new materials are released.
