Alateen has helped me have hope. The program has helped me realize that things could get better at home and that I am not alone. I know that there are people out there who have a situation similar to mine. Also, I know that if I make an effort, I can have a better life with my alcoholic. Meeting other members who have the same problems gives me hope. I know that if they are able to live a happy life with the alcoholic, I can too.
