The Finance & Operations team oversees the financial matters of Al‑Anon Family Group Headquarters, Inc. (AFG, Inc.) and maintains the World Service Office (WSO) building and grounds. Some of the financial matters include preparing monthly financial statements, establishing an annual budget, and undergoing an annual audit. To keep the building in good condition, Staff coordinate with a variety of contractors on services such as landscaping and central heating and cooling. This team also manages large mailings to the fellowship, such as distribution of The Forum, and ensures that Staff have the necessary office supplies and equipment to accomplish their work.
The Customer Service team receives and processes member contributions and magazine subscriptions, manages the WSO warehouse’s inventory of Conference Approved Literature (CAL) and service tools, and processes orders for members, groups, and Literature Distribution Centers (LDCs). This team stays busy year-round, especially around the holidays!
The Human Resources team is responsible for payroll, employee benefits, Staff training, employee relations, and recruiting new hires.
