Al‑Anon Guidelines are compiled and published by the World Service Office. They represent the shared experience of Al‑Anon and Alateen members in various service roles and provide a wealth of helpful information for anyone involved in service. In our continuing efforts to make these service tools more current, accessible, and helpful to all members, the following Guidelines have been recently updated and redesigned in English, Spanish, and French:
- Public Outreach Service (G-10)
- Group Representatives (G-11)
- Literature Distribution Centers (G-18)
- Starting an Alateen Group (G-19)
- Ordering Literature (G-31)
- Alateen Safety Guidelines (G-34)
- Area Group Records Coordinator (G-36)
- Area Public Outreach Coordinator (G-38)
These newly updated Guidelines can easily be identified on the webpage by looking for the “NEW” tile, which will remain for a period of six months before it is removed. Feel free to visit al‑anon.org to download, print, and circulate these valuable resources among local service arms.
