The Al‑Anon public outreach poster designs were inspired by requests from various Areas after seeing a poster depicting a woman holding a child trapped in a bottle. The original poster was created in Florida, and the World Service Office (WSO) adapted it to create downloadable templates that can be customized with local contact information. The WSO design replaced the woman trapped in the bottle with more generic silhouettes that cross demographic and cultural boundaries.
The WSO public outreach posters, with their eye-catching visuals and compelling messaging, are an inexpensive tool for raising awareness about Al‑Anon when displayed in public spaces such as libraries and community centers.

I’m wondering what places others have considered good posting locations. Of course, we could always print hundreds and put them everywhere, but it doesn’t seem like a cost effective approach and may reflect poorly on Al-Anon in some locations. Libraries of course. What about the community bulletin boards in cafes and grocery stores? School guidance counselors? College counselor offices?
Thank you. What an important, impactful way to spread the message of hope and help through the Al-Anon/Alateen programs.
