Conference & Events

The Conference team supports the Area Delegates, Area Chairs, District Representatives, and past and current Conference members. This support comes in the form of responding to emails and phone calls, hosting virtual trainings, and engaging via AFG Connects (an online forum for trusted servants). The team, in cooperation with the Conference Leadership Team, is also responsible for the planning and implementation of the annual World Service Conference (WSC). The WSC planning efforts include selection of an event location, preparation of the agenda, transportation, meals, and technical support. In addition to the WSC, the Events team coordinates all other events hosted by the World Service Office (WSO). This includes International Convention, Road Trip! You and Your Board Connect, and the International Al‑Anon General Services Meeting.
