In April 2025, Area Delegates, World Service Office (WSO) Volunteers (members of the Board of Trustees and Executive Committee), and WSO Staff will convene in Connecticut, USA, for Al‑Anon’s 65th World Service Conference. The Conference, Al-Anon’s annual business meeting, provides guidance to the WSO on service matters brought to its attention.
Delegates and other trusted servants enjoy receiving mail from members and groups in their Areas while they are at the Conference. In March, we will provide the mailing address to send cards and notes of support to Conference members.
Important Information about Love Gifts
Although Delegates may hand-carry love gifts to Connecticut to share with other Conference members, the WSO will not accept any boxes, packages, or large envelopes of love gifts delivered to the hotel.
We ask that members and groups refrain from mailing boxes, packages, or large envelopes to the hotel, as the hotel will charge the WSO for Conference members’ storage and acceptance of these items.
When the WSO becomes responsible for absorbing these costs, it precludes us from prudently applying our service dollars—our members’ Seventh Tradition contributions—in accordance with Warranty One and Tradition Five: helping the families and friends of alcoholics. Thanks to all members and groups for your practice of financial prudence.
